Amazon launches Export Central, allowing sellers to export to 39 countries in Europe

Amazon has introduced the Export Central tool, designed to help sellers in the Merchant Fulfilled Network (MFN) expand their business to 39 European countries with just three clicks. This new tool enables sellers to reach millions of customers, including those in countries without an Amazon store, like Austria, Portugal, and Greece.

Export Central is part of Amazon’s European Export Programme, available to sellers in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands, informs Amazon. This free-to-use program helps sellers grow internationally without needing to duplicate listings or register new accounts.

Both Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) and MFN sellers can benefit from this program. FBA sellers are automatically enrolled, while MFN sellers must provide shipping rates and transit times. Sellers must also ensure VAT compliance, which can be simplified with Union One-Stop Shop (UOSS) enrollment.

With Export Central, sellers can quickly enable international shipping from multiple stores and adjust shipping settings. For MFN sellers, Amazon pre-configures shipping options, but sellers can review and modify these settings before proceeding.

Xavier Flamand, Amazon’s VP of Seller Services in Europe, highlighted the benefits, calling Export Central a “game-changer” for sellers looking to expand into international markets without the usual barriers.
