Lifestyle & Sustainability for Increased Fan Revenue? FanCommerce Forum is Back

On the occasion of the Merchandising Fair Hamburg, the 2nd FanCommerce Forum will take place on November 15th and 16th. The congress is aimed at decision-makers in the merchandising and licensing industry.

Sustainability in merchandising, data for revenue enhancement, and artificial intelligence in e-commerce are some of the numerous topics that over 30 speakers will present. Representatives from FC St. Gallen, Wacken Open Air, Union Berlin, and Data Talks are expected to attend.

Sustainability as a Common Vision

FC St. Pauli, Hamburger SV, and other clubs of the Bundesliga have joined forces for a common sustainability mission. Separated by colors but united in purpose, sustainability is the theme. Higher costs and thus lower margins often remain obstacles for a more sustainable merchandise range. The majority of Bundesliga fans are also willing to pay more for merchandise produced under fair ecological and social standards. What does this look like in practice? Are fans truly willing to pay more for sustainable merchandise? What solutions exist to enable sustainability and profitability? This will be discussed by Catharina Fricke (FC St. Pauli), Gordon Knebel (Union Berlin), Jens Bräunig (LEGENDS International), and Sascha Steinbrück (Hamburger SV), among others.

Lifestyle Collections as Revenue Drivers

The future of e-commerce is often associated with automation, bots, and software. However, in merchandising, a combination of innovative offerings at the intersection of technology and human touch is needed. Are lifestyle collections the solution? Fashion items and fashion supported by innovative technologies become new sources of revenue for clubs and organizers. Additionally, the FanCommerce Forum will address how data can serve as a booster for merchandise sales, how to reach new target groups, and why FC St. Gallen provides its fans with a scarf as a season ticket.

At the FanCommerce Forum, over 30 speakers will present and discuss ideas and solutions in seven forums.
