CALL FOR PAPERS – Vote for the best speakers!

More than 250 speakers submitted their presentation proposals in August and September to the Call For Papers contest of the E-commerce Berlin Expo 2019. Now it’s time to vote for the winners and determine who will be on stage on 20 February 2019 at STATION, Berlin.

The expo is returning for the fourth time to Germany’s capital. This time with 150 exhibitors, 40 speakers and more than 5000 visitors. Speakers will be presenting their latest findings and trends in e-commerce on four stages.

The Call For Papers contest is allowing the audience to choose the most exciting topics or hear  actual solutions to real life challenges faced by the e-commerce sector. In the past two months, more than 250 presentation proposals have been submitted in 8 different categories, such as website conversion rate, marketing in e-commerce, e-logistics, international expansion, e-payments, online store case study, IT for e-commerce and new developments in e-commerce.

Until Sunday, 21 October 2018, the public is able to cast a vote in each of the categories, ultimately choosing the final speakers. The presentation with the highest number of votes will eventually win a spot in the E-commerce Berlin Expo 2019 agenda.

“We are very excited that so many companies submitted their presentation proposals this year. This is significant to us, because it shows that this segment is going into the right direction. Since day one our goal was to create a conference for real online sellers. A platform where they can share real-life problems and solutions with industry peers. Giving the choice to our audience to  determine the agenda is therefore of high importance to us. As things change very quickly in this industry, we believe the Call For Papers contest is a great contribution from industry peers to share knowledge with one another.” – Lucas Zarna, Director of Sales at E-commerce Berlin Expo.

Voting is free of charge. To vote a Facebook account is necessary. Votes are collected until 20 October 2018.
