Public voting sets record with 22,000 votes

The E-commerce Germany Awards reached a new milestone this year, with over 22,000 votes cast during the public voting stage. The overwhelming engagement highlights the importance of these awards in the e-commerce sector. On top of that, it ensures that the selected entries are of the highest quality, and boosts the overall prestige of the Awards.

A world-class panel of over 30 Jury members

While the record-breaking number of public votes propelled nominees into the Top 10, the final decision was in the hands of industry experts.

This year’s Jury featured prominent figures such as Michael Frösler from Jack Wolfskin, Elena Brunner of OCEANSAPART, Tung Nguen from Rosental, and Maria Kristalinskaya of Kleinanzeigen, with Arne Vogt of ARTAVO leading as the Head of the Jury.

Other notable Jury members included Sebastian Borak from Babymarkt, Rene Nicolai of Bike24, Diana Pottek from BLUME2000, Florian Bischoff of Decathlon, Federico Cutillo from home24, Johannes Janßen from Hood.de, Agnetha Pruim of Mondaine Watch, Yaron Michael Paul Jacobs at Triumph, and Till Hohmann from yfood Labs – just to name a few.

They provide an exceptional level of expertise and impartiality to the judging process. All of them are retail and e-commerce professionals with years of experience and successful ventures in the world of e-commerce. They have first-hand knowledge of the challenges and opportunities associated with e-commerce, making the Jury voting process unbiased and credible.

Consequently, the contest has a reputation for being one of the best in the industry.

Excellent networking opportunities with C-level executives

By invitation only, the EGA Networking Party attracted a guest list of over 600 people, where more than half were VIPs from the retail and e-commerce sectors, media, and EBE speakers, from companies such as Universal Music, IKEA, BMW, Alibaba.com, Thomann Music, Philips, Unilever, refurbed, HSE, OTTO, Ticketmaster, Decathlon, flaconi, Lidl, and Kaufland. Sounds impressive, doesn’t it?

The inclusion of Germany’s most influential media partners such as HDE, bevh, or SIBB, further contributed to the event’s prestige.
