The E-commerce Berlin Expo 2019 is taking place for the fourth time on 20 February 2019 at STATION, Berlin and you can become part of the agenda. This year’s Call For Papers Contest has officially started and submissions are being accepted now!
The fourth edition of Berlin’s biggest e-commerce event is expected to be even bigger and better. The event, in early 2019, is expected to host 150 exhibitors, 40 speakers and more than 5000 visitors. A huge audience of industry professionals, decision makers and leading companies will be gathering for the annual event.
In order to satisfy visitor’s needs and interest, the E-commerce Berlin Expo team is now inviting industry professionals to participate in the Call For Papers Contest. The open competition allows e-commerce professionals to submit a presentation on a topic of their choice. An online voting process will then decide on the top speakers to present on stage at the February event.
The competition serves the purpose of providing the content and speaker of highest value to the visitors by letting the public vote directly, who they want to see at the E-commerce Berlin Expo 2019. A process that has allowed speakers, such as Deniz Macura (Google), Tina Nord (Zalando), Rob Cassedy (eBay Kleinanzeigen), Miro Morczinek (Moebel24), Carsten Henning (Mister Spex), Luka Brekalo (L’oreal), Daniel Kramer (Facebook) and Erik Meierhoff (Idealo) to share their knowledge on topics like, “#HireUsAsATeam – a viral campaign success story” (Dr Pascal Volz), “How the current trends revolutionize search” (Tina Nord) or “How category creation can drive your online business” (Lukas Brekalo) earlier this year. Their presentations received highly positive feedback as the audience has directly chosen to hear them speak. See last year’s Call For Papers winners here.
Participation in the competition is completely free of charge and companies can submit their application as of 1 September 2018 until 28 September 2018. The online voting period begins 1 October. Speakers and/or their companies are free to promote their participation in the Call For Papers Contest to the public in order to collect votes.
In the past the E-commerce Berlin Expo has hosted industry leaders such as L’Oreal, Zalando, Moebel24, eBay Kleinanzeigen, Facebook, Real.de, DHL, Criteo, eKomi, SAP, Händlerbund and Google as their exhibitors. Passed notable speakers included Tina Nord (Zalando), Andrea Monaci (Hewlett Packard), Daniel Kramer (Facebook), Luka Brekalo (L’oreal) and Rowan Merewood (Google).
The event has established itself as a household name in Berlin and provides an excellent stage for exposure to industry professionals who want to make an impact and share their e-commerce knowledge with a large audience.
